Zombie Video Troubleshooting: Faces, Roles and Sound
Fix zombie video problems: swapped roles, changing faces, cropped characters, missing sound or failed generation. Check what to do before paying again.
For zombie video troubleshooting, first identify whether you have an input problem, an unfinished task, or a completed video with a visual defect. Do not repeatedly press Generate to test a problem: a new successful request is a separate 100-credit attempt.
| Problem | First action | New generation? |
|---|---|---|
| Upload rejected | Check the photo requirements | No; fix the input first |
| Wrong zombie partner | Check Photo 1 and Photo 2 | Changing an existing result requires a new attempt |
| Changing face or cropped person | Save the task ID and problem timestamp | Review before paying again; likeness is not guaranteed |
| No sound in preview | Unmute, then play the downloaded MP4 | No; check playback first |
| Closed tab or pending task | Reopen My videos | No; recover the current task |
| Confirmed technical failure | Check whether 100 credits returned | Only after reviewing the failure |
The wrong person becomes the zombie
Check the upload labels first: Photo 1 stays human; Photo 2 changes from zombie to human in the memory. Replacing a portrait after a task starts does not change that task. If your inputs were correct but the result swaps identities, keep the task ID and note the timestamp for support review.
Compare the slots with the role diagram. The template keeps Photo 1 human and changes Photo 2 from zombie to human. It does not infer which person you intended from the filenames.
A face changes during the hug
Overlapping faces, angled heads, and hands covering features can cause identity drift. Use clear, separate portraits with visible facial features and hair. A completed AI video can still contain these defects; similarity is not guaranteed.
One person is cropped out
Portrait framing has less horizontal room than the landscape reference. Review the full interaction in the 9:16 example when available. Choosing landscape may give both people more room, but it requires a new generation. The website does not simply crop every landscape output into portrait.
For recurring zombie video framing problems, choose a new ratio only after reviewing the full scene. A vertical frame has less room for two faces side by side. Compare the reference and its adaptation limits; a wider frame may help composition but does not guarantee better likeness.
I cannot hear anything
Preview playback starts muted. Enable sound and check your device volume. Download the MP4 and play it locally. Delivered files must contain an audio stream; a file with missing sound should be reported with the task ID. Scene effects do not include a promised song or new dialogue.
The page was closed or the request timed out
Sign back into the same account and open My videos. The website stores task progress separately from the tab. Avoid repeatedly starting fresh jobs: an uncertain provider submission needs reconciliation before retrying. A slow job is not automatically a failed job.
Generation failed after credits were deducted
A confirmed technical failure that cannot deliver a video returns that task’s 100 credits once. Credits are not a refund to your card. If payment succeeded but credits are missing, retain the payment reference and sign into the account that purchased the pack.
Zombie video troubleshooting does not automatically trigger a card refund. Confirmed technical failure returns generation credits; requests about completely unused packs follow the 24-hour refund policy. Check the cost of a new attempt before retrying.
What to include in a support request
Include the task ID, the selected ratio, the approximate time, and the specific issue with a timestamp. Do not send your password, full card details, or unrelated private photos. See the contact page for thesupport contact page.
